mogu nastupiti sa samo jednim bolidom, ali trebaju od FIA-e dobiti suglasnost da izostave jedan bolid (kao što im je FIA u Sochiju npr. dopustila).

Uglavnom, njima je koliko sam shvatio cilj da se pojave sa modificiranim bolidom iz 2014. najkasnije na VN Bahraina kako bi im onda FIA isplatila nagradu za 9. mjesto prošle godine. U međuvremenu su se obvezali da će u toku sezone sigurno doći sa novim bolidom koji skroz zadovoljava pravilnik.

Ja se osobno nadam da će im na kraju dopustiti da nastupe i da će im dopustiti da se pokušaju spasiti i u 2016. da uđu potpuno spremni. Ulaskom Haas-a bi onda opet došli na 22 bolida na gridu.

Ja se nadam da će se konačno nešto promijeniti u toj raspodjeli novca kod FOM-a da ovakve momčadi mogu biti stabilne bez pay drivera, jer je to i njihova poanta da novi Alonsi Vettel i Hamiltoni dobe šansu. Ovako, ako ovise o pay driverima, žive od utrke do utrke i u dugovima su do grla mi je apsolutno svejedno jesu li ili nisu na gridu

The Manor Marussia F1 Team is making huge strides towards the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship season opener in Melbourne, Australia, in just over two weeks’ time.

The next exciting step for the team is to make the first of its driver line-up announcements, with the news that Will Stevens will be an official 2015 Manor race driver.

Will, 23, is known to the team from his brief time in the role of Marussia Reserve Driver towards the end of the 2014 season. He went on to race for Caterham in the season finale in Abu Dhabi and produced the impressive performance anticipated of a driver who has won races in every category in which he has competed, against some of the very best junior drivers.

A fundamental element of the Manor philosophy has always been to provide opportunity for the next generation of motor racing talent, a part of the team’s long and proud history that will be retained into the future. Manor has started many young drivers out on the path to success, including Formula One world champions Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

The approval by the Company’s creditors on 19 February 2015 to a Company Voluntary Arrangement paves the way for the team to exit from administration and since that time everyone involved with Manor has been working flat out on the key components of its 2015 challenge.

The car with which Manor will begin the season is now in an advanced stage of build at the team’s current race preparation facility in Dinnington, UK, where personnel are working 24-7 towards the air freight despatch date of 6 March.

As the sport counts down to the curtain-raising 2015 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix in 18 days’ time, Manor is now in a position to be able to provide regular updates on its preparations for Melbourne and wider plans for the season, including the completion of its driver line-up.

Commenting on the announcement of his race seat today, Will Stevens said: “It’s very exciting to see everything coming together at Manor after the tremendous effort that has gone into saving the team. It would not have been possible without the incredible support we have received from all the suppliers and from within the sport, but most of all the fantastic team of people at Manor who are working around the clock to ensure we are ready for Melbourne. My thanks to the team for their confidence in me and I can’t wait to see all the hard work rewarded when we line up on the grid in two weeks’ time."

The Manor Marussia F1 Team looks forward to its participation in the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship.

Formal agreement was reached with Manor’s creditors on Thursday 19th February 2015 in order to allow the team to come out of administration, following new investment from Stephen Fitzpatrick.

Manor’s President & Sporting Director will be Graeme Lowdon, with former Sainsbury’s CEO Justin King taking over as the team’s interim Chairman.

The team has been preparing the cars with which it will begin the 2015 season and which comply fully with the 2015 regulations. Later in the season it will introduce a new 2015 specification car as per the designs initiated last year.

Graeme Lowdon said: “I want to thank all of the teams, the FIA, Formula One Management, our suppliers and staff and of course all of the fans for the support we’ve received over the past six months. It has been a challenging period for all of us but we’ve come through it and now we just want to go racing again. With formidable new business leadership in Stephen Fitzpatrick and the board presence of Justin King we are now in a great place ahead of the new season. This is a fantastic and very rewarding moment for all those involved with the team.”

Justin King said: “It’s a real pleasure for me to be involved in Manor. I know from the years I spent at Sainsbury’s that with the right people, the right values, and sheer hard work, you can turn any business around. In Graeme and Team Principal John Booth we have all three and I’m fully confident that we can help Manor be competitive at the highest level of racing.”

Stephen Fitzpatrick said: “We've all worked incredibly hard to get the car ready for Melbourne and the season ahead. Our fans have given the team amazing support for many years and we want to restore Manor to the very best of racing in the future. I have a lifelong passion for Formula One and can't wait for the season ahead, with Manor and the team.”

također je potvrđen i Jordan King kao treći vozač. Nije ni njegova karijera do sada loša: ove godine nastupati će za Racing Engineering u GP2, prošle je godine završio 7. u F3 Euro seriji, a 2013. je bio prvak britanske F3.

Sjećaš li se vremena, tj. 1999. godine, kada je ekipa bAR htjela nastupiti sa dva različito "obojena" bolida? Kako je to, čika Berniju smetalo? E, sad, kako bi ekipa iz Manora imala pravo šetati sa tako "neusklađenim" vozačkim odjelom? Kužiš?

Baš kao što ti je kolega finac napisao, u pravilima stoji da momčad mora imati oba bolida obojana u identične boje, a jedine dozvoljene razlike su:
- ime vozača i njegova nacionalnost
- broj
- boja kamere (1. vozaču crna, 2. vozaču žuta)

Uz to, logo momčadi, ime vozača, njegova nacionalnost i broj su obavezni na bolidu.

Isto tako, momčadi ne smiju mijenjati boje u toku sezone bez da prethodno ne obavijeste FIA-u koja promjenu mora dozvoliti. Tako je npr. BAR morao svake godine tražiti dopuštenje da u Kini voze u 555 bojama (plava i žuta) umjesto u standardnim Lucky Strike bojama.


Kad su odijela vozača u pitanju ona moraju proći FIA-ine kontrole kada je u pitanju izrada i materijali koji su korišteni. Jednom kad odijelo prođe kontrole i bude odobreno na kragnu se otraga ušije oznaka koja potvrđuje da je odijelo ispravno, kao što je vidljivo na ovoj slici

momčad se službeno zove Manor Marussia F1 Team...neznam točno koji je razlog, ali nisu mogli izbaciti Marussia iz imena za ovu sezonu
