To im je samo i preostalo.

Imaju jedan pole i jednu pobjedu ove sezone. I to od dva različita vozača. Ne bi ja bio tako razočaran.
To što su oni od početka imali (pre)velika očekivanja, to je druga stvar.

Sramota kakva vremena su imali na treninzima i kvalama ! Ocito nisu napredovali nista ili inzenjeri veze nemaju sa vezom

Očito je Ferrari napravio pravi potez kada je otpustio Aldu Costu. Razvoj ovog bolida ide naveliko u krivom smjeru.. ako uopce ide

mislim da ce sutra mercedes GP pruziti daleko kvalitetniju partiju nego na danasnjim kvalifikacijama...
ne krije se nikakav trik... jednostavno nije bio danas brz bolid, kako ce to sutra u utrci doci do izrazaja s nesto novim set-up za 15 % manjeg trosenja guma...
zapravo to je bio danasnji uzrok slabog gripa-narocito kod schumija...
vjeruju da ce imati nesto konstantniju situaciju s gumama... jer vise ih muci intermedia ukoliko budu te gume sutra koristili...
neke stvari se pustaju u medij... neke tek na kraju sezone...

Ta Kina nije bila tako davno kad je Merc bio najbrzi.Katastrafolan razvoj situacije.

A naj smjesnije mi je bilo kad im se pokvario DDRS,i mehanikosi Merca se pate u pitu da ga poprave.

U Monzi donose nove dijelove te se nadaju da ce biti puno bolji.

Mercedes runs ‘triple DRS’ at Spa

Forget double-DRS, Mercedes has reportedly upped the ante and debuted a ‘triple-DRS’ concept at Spa.

The German squad pioneered the straightline speed-boosting idea this year, and at recent grands prix Lotus has been trying to get a similar system up and running.

Mercedes has now taken the next step, according to Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport.

The publication on Saturday christened the Brackley based team’s new idea ‘triple-DRS’.

Nico Rosberg reportedly tested the new configuration – with the aerodynamics stalling at high speed in no fewer than three places when DRS is deployed – during Friday’s wet practice sessions.

Asked how it works, team boss Ross Brawn smiled: “We’ll leave that up to everyone’s imagination.

“We’ve looked at the Lotus system and drawn our conclusions,” he revealed. “Spa was a test in that direction.”

Auto Motor und Sport said the triple-DRS is not yet ready to race.

It was rumoured in recent days that McLaren might be the next to toy with theh double-DRS concept.

Technical director Paddy Lowe said on Saturday: “Until now, Mercedes has had only one imitator, and that’s Lotus. That shows how difficult it is to get a significant benefit from such a system.

“We are working on it, and if our ideas work the way we want them to, I imagine we will use it. Certainly not in the next two races,” he added.

The German publication said Red Bull might even have been ready to test some sort of innovation at the rear of the RB8 at Spa, but so far this weekend it has not been seen.

Auto Motor und Sport speculated that Adrian Newey pulled the innovation because of Friday’s washed out practice sessions.

Mercedes is investigating whether a wrong set-up direction with its W03 is to blame for its recent drop of form.

Having come into the campaign as front-runners - delivering pole position and a race win early on - the Brackley-based outfit has fallen away from the leaders in recent races.

Team principal Ross Brawn does not believe that there is anything fundamentally wrong with the car, but set-up choices designed to get more out of the tyres could be at fault.

Earlier this year, McLaren found that a set-up direction Jenson Button had chosen derailed his campaign for a while and left him with just two points from four races.

Speaking about why Mercedes' season has trailed off, Brawn said: "If I am honest it is not completely clear why there has been this trend.

"I think we were looking pretty good in the first third of the season, we have not looked so good in the last few races and there is a lot of analysis and a lot of thinking going on as to how we can improve this situation.

"Everyone is working really hard, and we have updates coming up for the next few races.

"We are still learning with these tyres, and some changes you make affect the performance more than we would normally expect.

"We have to look at whether we have taken the wrong step somewhere in terms of setting the car up or how we use the car; and in parallel with that we have to keep pushing for performance improvements. We have some plans for the next few races that I think will help."

Brawn says that Mercedes' early-season efforts to try and improve its race pace may have contributed to its qualifying form trailing off.

"This year's car was a good step forward in many areas and we were able to demonstrate that at the beginning of this year," he explained.

"I think we have struggled a little bit to follow the needs of these tyres and some of the changes we have had to make to improve durability in the race have not helped our qualifying performance.

"At the beginning of the year we had strong qualifying performance but, with the race performance, sometimes we struggled. And in trying to do the opposite perhaps we have moved too much in the other direction."

kak misliš danas testira, kaj nije zabranjeno testiranje, di drugi testiraju ???????

Mislim da bu mečka druge godine numero uno auto, a schumi ostaje ziher, nije lud da dvije godine radi na razvoju i onda to prepusti drugom

u sezoni, osim predsezonskih i jednog unutar sezonskog testiranja je predviđeno i 3-dnevno testiranje za mlade vozače (ili one koji u zadnje 2 godine nisu vozili utrku u F1). Nakon VN Britanije su Williams i ako se ne varam Caterham ostali na Silverstone-u 3 dana i testirali, jučer, danas i sutra u Magny-Coursu testiraju Ferrari, Mercedes i Force India, dok su RB, McLaren i ostali koji nisu testirali odlučili da će taj test odraditi u Abu Dhabiju nakon VN vikenda
