OK, nebi dominirao kao početkom 2000. tih (ipak ima 42. godine )
Ali taj ako (kad) ponovo osjeti postolje i pobjede ko će ga zaustavit? Deda je zagazio u peto desetljeće života a ima želju i volju koda je tek došao u F1.

Nadam se da je ovaj auto sposoban za vrh jer želim ponovo vidjeti Schumachera u ravnopravnoj borbi za pobjede.

"Enivej".......... Gazda izjavio da je zadovoljan sa novim strojem.
Danas nisu koristili DRS. ( tako sam procitao na njem rtl-u)
I u ekipi su zadovoljni sa masinom, nisu uopce zabrinuti zbog danasnjeg kvara, Vettel izjavio da ga to malo brine, vise bi volio da su onako razmisljali, gledali u prazno, nego sto su davali izjave da su zadovoljni sa autom.

Da "oil leak" iz mjenjaca,malo problema sa hidraulikom,tragovi gorenja oko ispuha. Definitno me podsjeca na nesto
Pa da na mog starog Fiata,ali je slusao i isao jedva do 4.mjesta.

Nico Rosberg was at the wheel of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 W03 car at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona today.



- A productive morning session allowed the team to make good progress through the planned technical programme



- A transmission oil leak was found early in the afternoon which could not be resolved in time to complete any productive running



- Nico completed 82 laps today, adding a further 382 km to take the F1 W03’s total mileage to 1164 km



Michael will be back in the car tomorrow before Nico finishes the test programme on Friday.

“It was good to get into proper testing today. Early in the morning, it was a bit too cold on the track to collect some decent information, however later we were able to get into our planned work. In the afternoon session, unfortunately we had a transmission oil leak which meant that I wasn’t able to complete any further running. That doesn’t affect my positive feelings about our test programme, and things like that can happen in the early stages of running a new car. Now I am looking forward to driving again on Friday.”

Ovaj W03 niti mi smrdi niti mirise,mislim da su napravili ogromni napredak s njim ali isto tako mi izgleda da je Mclaren ,Ferrari i RB napravili ogroooman napredak sa svojim pandanima,volio bih da nisam upravu i da se bore za pobjede ali mi zasad izgledaju kao jos jedno 4. mjesto,ne morate gledati vremena da bi donijeli taj zakljucak samo poslusajte F1 strucnjake i novinare koji su tu citav zivot,jos nijedan nije rekao Mercedes je brz u brzim ili sporim zavojima ili ima ovakvu ili onakvu trakciju ili stabilnost na kocenju,dok je hvale puna usta bila za Mclaren i RB,a Ferrari ce se posloziti vjerovatno do pocetka kao sto je i Mclaren prosle godine....

A pa teško da je neko mogao procijeniti kakav je bolid.. Prvi dan bio je problem sa hidrauikom, drugi dan sa curenjem ulja..
Nisu ni vozili pošteno..
Ostale ekipe napravile su već jedan test i na polovici su drugog dok je Mercedesu ovo tek treći dan i evo nadam se da bu prošao bez kvarova.

A kolko sam čitao, za Ferrari baš i ne dolaze neke lijepe riječi, pa niti od samog Alonsa.

Michael Schumacher is sure this year's Mercedes is a step forward compared to last year's challenger after completing his second day of testing at Barcelona.

The German had another highly productive day on Thursday, covering 127 laps for a total of 592 km, taking the team's total mileage for the W03 to 1756 km since it made its track debut.

Schumacher was second quickest today and he is confident Mercedes has taken a step forward compared to last year.

The seven-time champion said, however, that it is too early to say where that will put the team.

"We had a trouble-free day today. We did a race simulation and the competitiveness of the car is better than it has been. There are some promising signs that I hope we can transform in good results," said Schumacher.

"It's definitely clear that we have improved the car, but the question is how much we have improved the car compared to the others, something that I don't know yet."

When asked about his goals for the season, Schumacher said: "Wait and see."

To i ja mislim, bilo bi šteta da se vratio samo da bi se tri godine vozao u sredini poretka.
Iako navijam za Ferrari bilo bi mi drago da i Schumi pokupi par pobjeda ove sezone, ako ne može na suvoj stazi onda bar na mokroj kao 1996. kad je vozio prvu sezonu za Ferrari.

Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport said the feature is believed to produce an effect similar to the one pioneered by Mercedes' predecessor Brawn GP in 2009, which resulted in the championship for Jenson Button.

And according to Auto Motor und Sport, the concept differs to the banned double diffuser because the air is channelled through holes at the rear of the engine cover.

The concept, despite complying with the FIA's blown diffuser clampdown, also reportedly involves the clever redirection of exhaust gases.

And yet another innovation on the Mercedes could be a passive 'F-duct'-style addition to the car's new rear wing, working alongside the 'DRS' system.

Ross Brawn has seen enough of his Mercedes team's new car this week to be convinced it is a step forward over last year's contender - but he does not think it is good enough yet to win Formula 1 races.

As the Brackley-based outfit prepares to wrap up its first full pre-season test, Brawn feels the W03 has delivered exactly what he had hoped for at this stage of the campaign.

"The important thing is that we don't appear to have any core problems, we don't appear to have any major issues," he explained in Barcelona. "It seems okay and the car functions all right.

"Maybe something will come up that we don't know about at the moment, but it seems to work okay and that's great because we're now starting work on the performance.

"We're in a much better position than we were last year. So far, we have done over 2000 kms and we had done less than half of that at this stage last year. I think people can see that we have got something to work with."

Brawn said the focus of the final test at Barcelona would be to eke out more speed from the car - ahead of the first race of the season in Australia next month.

But he played down talk that it could bring a package that would put it in a position to take the fight to Red Bull Racing and McLaren for victory in Australia.

When asked about where a win fits into the team's equation, Brawn said: "It doesn't yet. There's still an awful lot to do and it's too early to make any judgements."

He added: "Both drivers are capable of winning. There's no doubt in my mind about that. We have got to produce the car. I don't think we have the car yet but it has been a good step over where we were 12 months ago."

Brawn did feel that the team had improved on the tyre degradation issues that hurt its form at times throughout 2011.

"We are trying to find that balance of performance over a stint with tyre degradation. Do you push hard at the beginning and the tyre falls away, or do you try and conserve the tyres and keep a consistent lap time? What's the actual quickest way of doing it, and what setu-p do you need to achieve that?

"When we come to the next test, we'll spend a lot more time looking at that. But it's not bad. It's just probably not as good as we would hope, but it's not bad. The thing we have to be careful is that Barcelona is an unusual circuit with a lot of fast right-handers and the grip is going up now. Probably, today is the first day that we've had some representative track temperatures."

...ne izgleda baš optimistično...cijelo vrijeme se u stvari vrti oko rečenice koju je izrekao na kraju.."nije toliko dobro koliko smo se nadali...ali nije loše" - vjerojatno su vjerovali da stvaraju pobjednički bolid no izgleda da su ipak ostali malo razočarani kranjim rezultatom...sezona (ako je vjerovati ovim riječima) poput prošlogodišnje...

Ne mora značit. Možda su baš složili bolid pa sad malo pile naopako.
Bolid je sigurno bolji od prošlogodišnjeg čija baza je potpuno promašena.
Sada imaju dobro bazu, izgleda da su riješili problem guma što je veliki +, sada se mogu koncentrirati na performanse i nadogradnju bolida. Neće trebati zakrpe kao prošle sezone (nadam se)

Do sad su odvezli velik broj krugova što nije bio slučaj prošle godine. Ako se ne varam negdje je izjavljeno da su prešli preko 2000km s novim bolid dok u ovo isto doba prošle godini nisu niti pola toga prešli. Također su spomenuli probleme s gumama koji su i dalje tu i traže rješenje da to savladaju. Prema svemu sudeći imaju puno više podataka nego prošle godine što je kudikamo bolje.

Samo me interesira što skrivaju kao zmaja noge. Jer kad bolid dođe u boks zamotaju ga sa crnom ceradom i navuku "zastore" da nitko ne vidi ništa.

Skrivaju se kao i svi ostali.Dobro je to sto nemaju nekih kvarova kao na pocetku,pa mogu da se koncentrisu na podesavanja bolida,u zavisnosti na kojim gumama voze.Radili su veliki broj krugova,sto je dobar znak da je sve u redu sto se tice mehanike.

Nico Rosberg began the final pre-season test for MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS today at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

- Nico completed 128 laps, equivalent to 596 km, over the course of a very productive first day of running
- The team focused on set-up evaluations with the F1 W03 this morning, with Nico covering 56 laps over 10 runs
- Nico’s afternoon programme saw longer runs with further set-up work aimed at optimising race performance

Michael Schumacher will take over the car tomorrow, with Nico driving on Saturday, and Michael concluding the test on Sunday.

“I'm very happy with the first day of our test programme today. We were able to complete a lot of laps and tried a few different things which worked out well. Some of the evaluations were really interesting which makes the day good fun for me, and it’s nice to find out what the car can do. We had no reliability problems which is good as it’s important to get mileage on the car. We are making progress, but we don't know really where we are compared to the others. It will be interesting to find out at the first race.”

Michael Schumacher was at the wheel of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 W03 today for the second day of the test.

- Michael completed 19 laps this morning, with a late start and red flags, including two caused by the team, interrupting running
- The afternoon session proved more productive as Michael and the team worked through a series of set-up evaluations
- Michael’s lap tally by the end of running, which was extended by 30 minutes due to the morning fog, was 79 laps, equal to 368 km

Nico will be back in the F1 W03 tomorrow for the third day of the test, with Michael concluding the programme on Sunday.

“The start of our day was something of a struggle this morning, partly down to me as well, and it seemed as if the afternoon might start that way also. Fortunately the session turned out well, and we achieved all of the test items that we wanted. So in the end, it was a positive day, but we will only see later how we stand compared to the other teams.”
